I bought these magnets to magnetize my GW army bases. They are strong enough, but you need to use two per base because they are quite thin.

I tried the magnets as soon as they arrived, and you can see the result in the picture. I carved the sword out of the solid figure's hand, so maybe that's why even the smaller magnets were big enough to fit inside, but they look great anyway—especially the one I turned into the sword pommel.
To glue a small magnet, you need to coat it completely in glue, otherwise it won't hold. You can use a needle to hold it—given how strong they are, it's easy, you just need to let the glue dry thoroughly.
The larger magnets will be great for bases.
I like that there are more of the smaller ones, and there's a good amount in the pack overall (supposedly 20x 5mm and 80x 3mm).
They hold well even through thicker surfaces (one small magnet even stuck to the back of my utility knife), and you can easily find them on the carpet using a needle, even if you can't see them (the needle attracts them from quite a distance).

Zkusila jsem magnety hned co přišly a na obrazku je výsledek. Vyřezávala jswm meč z ruky celistvé figurky, možná proto byly i menší magnety dost velké abych je mohla zasadit dovnitř, ale i takhle vypadaji dobře, obzvlášť ten, ze kterého jsem udělala hlavici meče.
Pro lepení maleho kousku magnetu je potřeba obalit ho lepidlem celý, jinak nedrží. Chytit se u toho dá pomocí jehly - pri tom jak silně drží je to jednoduché, jen je potreba nevhat lepidlo dobře zaschnout.
Větší magnety budou dobré pro podstavce.
Líbí se mi, že menších magnetů je víc, a celkově jich je v balení hodně (prý 20x5mm a 80x3mm)
Dobře drží i přes silnější povrch (jeden maly magnet se mi přilepil i na zadní stranu odlamovacího nožíku) a hledat na koberci je lze snadno pomocí jehly, prestoze nejsou vidět (jehla je přitáhne na velkou vzdalenost).
Naprostá spokojenost.

After cutting them out and re-gluing, they work as they should. I'm satisfied and recommend them.
