I received the set and while I do use the equipment from it, it unfortunately contains a lot of items beyond the AP quality that an advanced modeler already has at home and aren't anything special. Here is a breakdown of the contents:

1. Brown Battleground - sorted sand, uniform grain size - I think real sand is better because it looks more natural.
2. Battlefield Rocks - chopped cork stoppers.
3. Swamp Tuft (35 pcs) - very high-quality self-adhesive tufts!
4. Summer Undergrowth - 'bushes', supposedly popular, but I don't use them much.
5. Battlefield Field Grass - average green flock, okay for a few attempts, but not enough for an entire army.
6. Battlefield Snow - baking soda, must be mixed with white paint and PVA glue first; see the terrain in the picture for the result.
7. AP basing glue - PVA glue, sold locally under the brand Herkules. Newer packages supposedly contain more and have a better dispenser.
8. The manual is useful, but it's available as a PDF download on the manufacturer's website.

So, if you've been modeling for a while, for 389 CZK you're buying a few great tufts, some ordinary green grass, and not-so-pretty bushes. You likely already have the rest at home under a different name and for less money. I don't recommend this set, but I definitely recommend other Army Painter basing and terrain products, see the picture.

Sadu jsem dostal, a tak vybavení z ní sice používám, ale obsahuje mimo AP kvality bohužel i hodně věcí, které má pokročilejší modelář již doma a nejsou ničím zvláštní, proto popíšu obsah po jednom:

1. Brown Battleground - tříděný písek, stejně velká zrna - skutečný je podle mého lepší, protože vypadá přirozeněji
2. Battlefield Rocks - sekané korkové špunty
3. Swamp Tuft (35 ks) - velmi kvalitní samolepící trsy!
4. Summer Undergrowth - 'keříky', prý oblíbené, ale já příliš nepoužívám
5. Battlefield Field Grass - průměrný zelený flock, na pár pokusů OK, ale např. na armádu je ho málo
6. Battlefield Snow - jedlá soda, nutno napřed smíchat s bílou barvou a PVA lepidlem, výsledek viz terény na obr..
7. AP basing glue - PVA lepidlo, u nás se prodává pod značkou Herkules. V novějších baleních je ho prý více a má lepší dávkovač.
8. Příručka je užitečná, ale je ke stažení v pdf na stránkách výrobce.

Tedy pokud již chvilku modelaříte, za 389Kč si zde koupíte pár skvělých tuftů, trochu obyč. zelené travičky a nepříliš hezké keříky. Zbytek už doma zřejmě máte pod jiným názvem a levněji. Tuto sadu tedy nedoporučuji, ale ostatní Army Painter produkty na basing a terén rozhodně ano, viz obrázek.

I highly recommend this product to any absolute beginner creating miniature terrain for the first time. You can test which terrain types (the box includes snow, stones, grass, etc.) work best for your miniatures and then buy them in larger quantities at better prices. The glue is decent too, though it's essentially just PVA glue in a fancy bottle.

Pro naprostého začátečníka, který tvoří terény pro figurky poprvé, mohu tento produkt doporučit. Můžete si odzkoušet jaký terén (v boxu je sníh, kameny, tráva apod) se vám hodí přímo pro figurky a následně ho koupit ve větším množství za lepší ceny. Lepidlo je také fajn, ale je to jen Herkules v hezké lahvičce.

This set is a must-have for starters. The glues are key; one is like PVA glue, but the other is perfect for slime, water effects, and more.

Set je "must have" pro vyzkoušení. Důležité jsou lepidla, jedno je něco jako Herkules, ale to druhé je super třeba na sliz, vodu atd.

Dobrý set na zkoušku, co vám bude vyhovovat a co ne. Balení materiálů jsou ale opravdu malinkatá, takže brzy budete muset sáhnout po něčem větším.
